Florida State is set to face Oregon in the Rose Bowl on Thursday as part of college football’s first-ever playoff. Former ESPN columnist Molly Knight decided to have some fun on Twitter prior to the game, and poked the FSU bear a little with the following tweet:
We, as a nation, might disagree on politics and Love Actually– but we can all agree Oregon needs to clobber Florida State.

Knight’s tweet led to a deluge of responses regarding the rape investigation involving FSU quarterback Jameis Winston (and some discussion on the merits of Love Actually). One guy in particular — some dude named David — took a more boorish approach in responding to Knight’s anti-FSU stance:

The good thing about people like David is that once they put these things out in the social media sphere, it’s there forever. And, people with even larger followings may run with it. In this case, it was ESPN’s Michelle Beadle who proceeded to not only put clown shoes on “David”, but dress him up in a full suit and rubber nose.
