The Minnesota Vikings are playing a potentially season-defining home game against the Atlanta Falcons, in desperate need of a win to reach 2-2. Without Adrian Peterson, the team is immediately less intimidating both on the field and coming out of the tunnel.

Apparently in an effort to bolster that depleted terror, the team elected for an elaborate scheme that resembles a middle school’s medieval play instead of grown men playing a violent football game:
