gordon

ESPN Cleveland is reporting this morning that the whispers of a potential reinstatement for Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon are likely true. While Gordon was suspended indefinitely by the league, with a return to be decided after the 2014 season, a potential new drug policy agreed upon by the NFLPA and the league has made his return not a matter of if, but when.

The new drug policy agreement is expected to be finalized at any point, with some thinking it could come as early as Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. The revised rules might allow Gordon to receive a significantly reduced suspension, allowing him to play in 2014, instantly becoming the hottest waiver wire pickup in fantasy football leagues.

Now, children, don’t take this to the bank quite yet. Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland is working off of rumors and assumptions as this point, including a Gordon locker that has not been cleaned out but instead prepared as if he is returning with his jerseys and equipment.

Regardless he is still worth a roster spot in every single fantasy league.
