“Platinum Girls” – Diarrhea Planet
This band is one of my all-time favorites. I saw them open for Jeff the Brotherhood a couple years ago and instantly fell in love. Four lead guitars and catchy punk rock songs are all you need to have an amazing band. “Platinum Girls” is the Nashville group’s latest song and it also comes from their upcoming November EP Aliens In the Outfield. This track is great because it is their catchiest and poppets to date. I also like that Brent takes control on the vocals, not saying I don’t like Jordan’s singing, its just a nice change and something they started doing on their second LP I’m Rich Beyond Your Wildest Dreams.
Here’s a fun fact for you as well… This video was shot at the “Pete & Pete” house! THATS SO AWESOME!!!
