We are finally here. The NFL is back after after an all-too long break and the league has a doozy to start the 2014 season. The defending-champion Super Bowl champion Seahawks will host the Green Bay Packers as an elite passing offense led by Aaron Rodgers will face off against the elite defense of the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks will be favored by six points given their fantastic defense, an offense that looked incredibly smooth during the preseason and a home field noise advantage that rivals anything in the NFL. Look for the Seahawks to test the interior defense of the Packers, which will be missing BJ Raji and for the Packers to do the same with Eddie Lacy as throwing the ball against the Seahawks is a bit of a risky proposition, even if your quarterback is Aaron Rodgers. The over/under of 46 points should be fairly easy to hurdle given the weaknesses in the Packers’ defense and the ability of Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy to manufacture points.
