As expected, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is not pleased with ESPN’s report on Michael Sam’s showering habits. For those that somehow missed the initial story, reporter Josina Anderson did an odd segment on Tuesday’s SportsCenter that featured comments from Rams players about Sam’s showering habits. The network was ripped for the senseless report and issued a statement of apology Wednesday morning.

While Fisher said he did appreciate ESPN’s apology, he still was pissed, addressing report with the following comments to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

I think it’s unethical. I think it’s very unprofessional. Not only the piece itself, the content. The manner in which she did it. It’s my understanding she manufactured this story. She was out of line because she went and contacted several players on their personal time, misled them with questions then put this piece together.

It is unclear if Anderson has made a statement of apology or provided additional comments following her report at Rams camp. It continues an unfortunate and highly ridiculed trend of infatuation with Michael Sam by ESPN since he was drafted in May.
