Russian officials are not pleased with the continued vandalism of Soviet monuments in Sofia, Bulgaria and are pleading with Bulgaria’s government to help stop. As you can see, the pranksters are not only vandalizing the statues, they’re being completely renovated into superheroes.

According to The Moscow Times, Russia is starting to get pissed:

The Russian Embassy in Bulgaria has issued a note demanding that its former Soviet-era ally clean up the monument in Sofia’s Lozenets district, identify and punish those responsible, and take “exhaustive measures” to prevent similar attacks in the future, the news agency reported Monday

The Sofia-based news agency Novinite reported the acts were done on the eve of the 123-year anniversary of the Bulgarian Socialist Party. The anonymous artists’ superhero monument is the latest in a series of graffiti pranks around the area.
