The Angels C.J. Wilson walked David Ortiz on a full count in the 1st inning with no men on base. The average ballplayer would simply toss his bat toward the unassuming bat boy and wiggle to his free base. David Ortiz is not your average ballplayer and therefore does what he pleases.
