Giancarlo Stanton is as hot as any player in baseball right now. The Miami Marlins outfielder has homered five times (and was robbed of a sixth by Jay Bruce) in his last five games, including two last night off of Shelby Miller and the St. Louis Cardinals. Stanton’s second blast came in the third inning and traveled an estimated 470 seat to left field, his seventh homer to travel more than 450 feet this season – more than any other TEAM in the league this year.

In addition to Stanton’s two homers, he also made this fantastic defensive play to rob Kolten Wong of extra bases. Have yourself a night, kid.
