Richmond artist Jeromyah Jones was one of the attendees to the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots joint practices this week. What made Jones stand out in the crowd was his own artwork featuring Tom Brady and a gazelle. When one reads Jones’ line of thought behind his piece, the pairing makes perfect sense.

Jones told For the Win that the gazelle is meant to represent Brady’s wife, Gisele, and not just in a pun-worthy way:

“That’s his wife,” Jones told For The Win. “It symbolizes his wife, Gisele, and the graceful nature that she possesses. The red carpet that bridges the gap between their two professions, the modeling world and the sports world. I didn’t just want to show him in the uniform. I wanted to show the loves of his life, football and his wife.”

Jones definitely made sure to capture Brady’s best fashion when he’s out of uniform and his artistic interpretation of Gisele is fairly accurate in a poetic sense.

The best part is that Brady reportedly saw the portrait and then signed it. Guess he approves of Jones’ work.
