“Goshen ’97” – Strand of Oaks
The first time I heard this song was back in May and my first thought was that this was from the 90’s. I was way wrong. The track reminds me of those 90’s alternative rock bands like Pavement and Dinosaur Jr. “Goshen ’97” comes off Strand of Oaks’ amazing fourth album, Heal. The crunchy, distorted guitars and Tim Showalter’s vocals have made this track a fixture in my everyday rotation. – James
