Contrary to popular belief, there are still numerous walk-on, non-scholarship players on FBS football rosters, with teams carrying anywhere between 20-40 walk-ons. Many of those student-athletes eventually receive scholarships at some point in their four or five-year careers and Wisconsin redshirt sophomore Conner Udelhoven joined that group this week.

The (former) walk-on long snapper entered his third camp without a grant-in-aid package but was quickly granted one just a few days into practice and workouts. Watch as Badgers head coach Gary Andersen surprises Udelhoven with a scholarship during a team trivia game.
