There aren’t many basketball players whose high school jerseys could sell for $50,000, but there also aren’t many basketball players who are LeBron James.

LeBron’s been an untouchable talent on the basketball court going all the way back to his days as a teenager at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s high school in Akron. Now that he’s returning to Ohio to rejoin the Cavaliers, the LeBron merchandise surge is upon us. I have to presume that LeBron’s Cavs jersey will be everywhere you look around Cleveland in the coming months,  but if you want to stand out, boy, do we have the collectors item for you.

The catch? It’s gonna run you somewhere around $50,000.

If you’ve got that kind of disposable income, you could be the proud owner of a St. Vincent-St. Mary’s jersey worn and autographed by an 18-year old LeBron during his senior season. The uniform is being sold by City Liquidators Autograph Store in New York, who have had it listed since 2013. They haven’t had much luck moving it in the past year, turning down 14 offers for the jersey, but something tells me James’ return home will help motivate a rich person to pony up the cash necessary to add this gem to his/her collection. Plus, it comes with free shipping so it’s actually a really great deal!
