Say all you want about the Texas Rangers’ season thus far. We all know it’s been a disaster. But they didn’t mess around tonight. Tonight was the Rangers’ turn to honor Derek Jeter with a pregame ceremony. And they didn’t hold back.

Enter: George W. Bush. Because why the hell not?

It appears that Bush hasn’t forgot about the famous words Derek Jeter said to him prior to tossing out the first pitch at a World Series game in 2001 — less than two months after 9/11.

Don’t bounce your throw, or they’ll boo you.”

In the video, you can clearly see Bush say those exact words to Jeter. It was a touching moment for the Captain. Meanwhile, I’m still wondering what the hell is going on here:
