Professional swimmers have ridiculous daily workout regimens to stay in shape and at the top of their game. They also have ridiculous daily diets to counteract those workouts. Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all-time, once stated that he would eat 8,000-10,000 calories a day during the height of his training.
Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte gave us a peek at what his daily meals look like on Twitter this week and, well, you probably couldn’t finish it. That’s a whole lot of chicken, asparagus, and mac and cheese (?) for one sitting. I officially feel bad for swimmers’ toilets, especially with all that asparagus.
