As everyone who is following the World Cup knows by now, Neymar suffered a World Cup-ending fractured vertebrae in Brazil’s game against Colombia. While he obviously wishes that he could be participating in the rest of the competition, Neymar stated in a message to fans of the Brazilian team that Brazil would be fine and that he’d be there to celebrate when the host country wins the World Cup.

Per the Daily Mail, here’s the translation of the video:

“My World Cup has not ended, it has been interrupted by a play but the tournament goes on and I told my team-mates to do everything in order to help me achieve my dream to be world champion. My dream was to play at a World Cup final but I’m certain my team-mates will be champions. I will be there with them, and all Brazilians will soon be celebrating all of that.”

[For the Win!]
