There’s tons of different things you can do while in San Francisco. When you ask people for recommendations, you’ll usually get similar responses.. The Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Trolley Ride, or Alcatraz.

Aside from all the touristy attractions, we put together 10 things you wouldn’t normally do while in SF. They’re all very affordable and fun to do with a group of friends. Enjoy!

Archery at Golden Gate Park

archery

This archery range is the largest outdoor range in Northern California. Located in Golden Gate Park, right off Fulton and 47th. For those who have never shot archery, its a lot fun! It’s a great group activity, bring a couple friends along and you can all share. I recommend to come prepared, bring some snacks, beer and maybe a blanket. Don’t be intimidated by the fog early in the day, it’ll burn off and sun will stay shining.

There’s a rental shop a few blocks away that hooks it up pretty well, SF Archery Pro Shop.
If it’s your first time shooting a bow and arrow, the shop will give you all the essentials and a quick lesson. Rentals are affordable, $25 for a set (bow, six arrows, target, wrist guard and finger guard) & all day rentals.

Check it out on YELP.
