The Brewers are hoping to get a couple of their guys into the All-Star Game this year and instead of your typical “here’s why you should vote for our guy” ads to help make that happen, they’re going the “here’s why you shouldn’t vote for their guy” route.

That’s right, the Brewers are employing ‘attack ads’ that you normally see reserved for politicians to earn votes for a couple of their players. They’re pretty fantastic – especially the One for Jonathan Lucroy, which is heavily anti-Cardinals:

If you vote for Yadier Molina after watching footage of him with audio of crying babies, well, you’re just a really bad person.

The Brewers also released an ad for Carlos Gomez and, though it’s less attack-y than Lucroy’s, it emplores voters to vote for a true center fielder instead of a corner outfielder this year.

.embed-container { position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0; overflow: hidden; max-width: 100%; height: auto; } .embed-container iframe, .embed-container object, .embed-container embed { position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; }

In case the ads worked on you, here‘s where you can vote for Lucroy and Gomez…or any other player you’d like.
