red zeppelin

Remember “Red Zeppelin,” that giant blimp that Budweiser designed to resemble a giant goal lamp that lit up every time Canada scored during the Olympics? Yeah, well it’s officially on the loose in the northern skies.

The massive two-story, 21-metre-long blimp reportedly broke off from it’s tether at a ball hockey tournament in Canada this weekend. The “Red Zeppelin” was last spotted floating around 1,500 meters in the air and is expected to come down somewhere in New Brunswick, though officials aren’t exactly sure when.

I’d say whoever was in charge of securing Budweiser’s baby might have been dipping a little too heavily into the stash, if you know what I mean.
