The game was tied at 47 between Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart (Mich.) and Fulton-Middleton when things turned amazing. With only 2.1 seconds left in the game Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart drew up a play to lob the ball to one of their big men, but the errant pass hit the backboard and bounced out to the perimeter where it fell into the hands of Dustin Neyer. With time running out Neyer heaved an off-balance prayer from 25-feet out. His prayers were answered when the ball finally trickled into the net and gave Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart an unimaginable 50-47 as well as the Class D regional title over.
