2. Larry Sherry, Relief Pitcher, Los Angeles Dodgers

In 1959, Larry Sherry became the first relief pitcher to be named World Series MVP in the Dodgers first championship since moving to Tinseltown in 1958.

Sherry was bestowed the honor after picking up two wins and racking up two saves to the tune of a 0.71 ERA against the Chicago White Sox.

For his career, Sherry recored only a 5.6 WAR and turned in negative WAR seasons in five of his 11 big league seasons.
