I’m assuming that Bill will come out with a Tweet soon which will explain how every website who posted his Tweet about Wimbledon being on NBC when it is on ESPN is wrong. Until then, I’ll let NBC Sports do the talking. No way Simmons got that wrong while he is working at ESPN, right?
It sure seemed like Bill Simmons was taking a jab at NBC because the Wimbledon women’s final wouldn’t have any big names to promote, however NBC Sports definitely got the last laugh. First rule of making fun of someone is to check your facts.
