It is only ever so often that a running back comes along, who provokes excessive attention at the high school level and Leonard Fournette of Louisiana, St. Augustine deserves every bit of the hype coming his way. At 6’1″, 225 pounds, Fournette is surprisingly agile and after watching his highlight reel from 2012 (Junior Season), I can now see why he is receiving so much acclaim, as he demonstrates the size/athletic skills to repeatedly embarrass defenders in space or straight on. With the ability to make moves similar to players of much smaller stature; Fournette possesses the rare 4.3 type speed that when expelled with vision and an effortless stride proves deadly to defenses.
