2012 Camaro ZL1:

Price: $54, 995  Drivetrain: 6.2 liter supercharged V8, 580hp @ 6100 rpm, 556 lb-ft @ 3800; six-speed manual or six-speed torque converter automatic transmission Weight: 4, 120 lb 0-60MPH: 3.9 sec Fuel Economy: 16-20 mpg

Why? A head turner that boasts an insanely powerful engine. Although not the most practical of the bunch with cramped back seats and a bit of a bumpy ride, it drives like a race car when pushed and can be taken straight to the track on your off days. Almost 600 horsepower for just over 50 grand is a great bargain.

2012 Nissan GTR:

Price: $89, 950 Drivetrain: 3.8 liter VR38DETT twin-turbo V6,  530hp @ 6400 rpm, 448 lb-ft@ 5200 rpm, dual clutch6 speed transmission  Weight: 3,829 lb : 0-6-MPH: 3.0 sec Fuel Economy: 16-23 mpg

Why? With an advanced four wheel drive system and excellent suspension the GTR performs best confronting turns with superior control and agility. Although a road burner, the car is expensive and its not the best looking car of this bunch, however it could probably beat a lot of cars in the $200,000 plus range.

2012 Mercedes- C63 AMG

Price: $63,500 Drivetrain: DOHC 32- valve 6.2 liter V-8, aluminum block and heads port fuel injection, 451hp @ 6800 rpm, 443 lb-ft @ 5,000 rpm; 7-speed automatic with manual shifting mode  Weight: 3900 lbs  0-60MPH: 3.8sec Fuel Economy: 14-22 mpg

Why? Practical with four seats, yet a monster when pulling up to line. With beautiful styling, Mercedes- Benz advanced technologies, a quad exhaust, and the best interior of this bunch I feel like this car makes sense in a lot of ways.

2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302

Price: $40, 995 Drivetrain: 90-deg V-8, alum block/ heads, 444hp @ 7500 rpm, 380 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm, six speed manual transmission Weight: 3621 lbs  0-60 MPH: 4.3 sec Fuel Economy: 17-26 mpg

Why? Tons of car for your money and personally I think it looks great. Mustang is an American legend and this car holds the future of the line.

2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

Price:$ 63,215  Drivetrain: 6.2 liter Super charged V-8 with a Eaton-Roots type intercooler 556 hp @ 6100 rpm, 551 lb-ft torque @ 3800 rpm, six speed automatic or six speed manual transmission  Weight: 4,217 0-60 MPH: 3.9 sec Fuel Economy: 14-19 mpg

Why? Scary fast, and is uniquely styled. Despite the cons of bad visibility, price, and fuel economy, the CTS-V will keep up against any production car on the road.
