Here’s a quick glimpse into what some Americans are spending their time on.

These 850 people didn’t come together in a New Orleans warehouse to learn how to code software, or to brainstorm ways to fix public education, or strategize on green business models.

They came together because they all wanted to be the Albert Pujols of Human dominoes on Sealy posturepedics. They felt the need to own that category.

And what do they have to show for it? Very little.
