The Chicago Blackhawk’s Patrick Kane slowed things down a bit to put the puck past Niklas Backstrom and give his Blackhawks the 4-3 win over the Wild. The two teams with the best records in the Western conference squared off on Wednesday night in a great game but the chatter after the game was surrounding Kane’s game winner. It is hard to fully explain, but Kane slowed his skate toward the goal in time to be able to choose where Backstrom would bite on the back and forth.

“Just kind of slowed down and wait for the goalie to bite,” Kane said after the win. “I didn’t know which way I was going to go. Been practicing it a little bit in practice, going slow. I was ready to bring it back to my backhand or my forehand and he bit on the back-hand.”

It is definitely a goal that will be remembered.
