We mentioned a couple weeks back that Robert Griffin III was scheduled to get married and his registry had been found. In fact, we picked the top ten things that were on that registry. It seems that some big RG3 fans took the opportunity to purchase some of the items, and by some we mean a ton.

Donte’ Stallworth Has An Interesting Story Behind His Twitter Avatar

It seems that Donte’ Stallworth had a small run in with the CIA as he tried to take a picture outside of their Langley offices. I’ll let Donte’ explain via Twitter. Enjoy his explanation of how he had a close brush with the CIA in order to snap a picture outside of the CIA headquarters in Langley.

Taking that pic in my avi, I came eerily close to being sent to #GuantanamoBay... Lucky for me, he was a #Redskins fan and gave me a pass!

J.J. Watt Makes A Surprise Visit To Young Cancer Patient

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt recently made a surprise visit to a young leukemia patient in Splendora, TX. twelve year-old Cristian Beasley is one of 34 students nationwide using the VGo Telepresence System to attend school with his classmates, though he does so from home. You know those commercials where the kid is at home and that crazy wheeled robot with a TV monitor on top wheels into class? It’s that thing he’s using.

In any case, he named the robot “Watt” and, in an elaborate ruse set up by the Houston Texans, NFL Films, Cristian’s family and school, and the Education Service Center Region 6 that coordinates the VGo program, J.J. was able to arrive undetected at Cristian’s home. The enormous defensive end sneaked up behind Cristian and gave him the surprise of a lifetime.

“Oh my God,” is all Cristian could mutter.

Watt (the human version) visited with Cristian for a couple of hours, leaving him with memories to last a lifetime and a treasure trove of signed shoes, gloves, and the like. Cristian returned the favor by letting J.J. drive the other “Watt” through the halls of his elementary school.

Jets RB Mike Goodson Arrested On Drug, Weapon Charges

According to News 12 , New York Jets running back Mike Goodson was arrested early this morning for drug possession and weapon charges. It appears that Goodson was found passed out in his car which was pulled off on the side of the freeway. When the police stopped to inquire as to why there were people sleeping in the car they found more than they bargained for.

Sources say Goodson and a companion were found intoxicated in an SUV along Route 80 in Denville. Authorities have not said why the car was stopped on the highway.

Goodson was being taken to a hospital when authorities discovered marijuana in his possession. Officers searching the SUV also found a loaded 45-caliber handgun.

Both Goodson and his companion, identified as Garret Evans, were taken to a hospital for an evaluation. They were then released to State Police custody and transported to the Netcong barracks.

Goodson signed a three-year-contract with the Jets in March and it is safe to say that this isn’t the best way to begin with a new squad. Goodson is currently in Morris County jail with a $50,000 bail.

Eagles’ Evan Mathis Is Not a Fan of The IRS

Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive lineman Evan Mathis took to Instagram to show the world his disdain for the Internal Revenue Service. Mathis had a friend snap a picture with him “seemingly” urinating on a IRS sign in front of their building. The caption simply read: “Audit this.” Fair enough.

Evan did not immediately apologize for the picture, and we probably shouldn’t expect one soon.

Jimmy Traina had a chance to speak with Evan about the incident to get some more clarity on the reason behind the photo, here is what Even had to say:

Hot Clicks: Did you actually pee?

Mathis: I’m afraid that if I tell the truth I’ll lose too much street cred.

Hot Clicks: Was it a spur of the moment decision to take the pic?

Mathis: I walked by the IRS building on the way to the Museum of Natural History and had the urge to take some kind of picture, but was then distracted by the glorious smell of a nearby hot dog stand. On our way back to the subway after leaving the museum, I came up with the idea for the picture.

Hot Clicks: Were you worried about any fallout from the Eagles?

Mathis: I didn’t do anything illegal, nor was anyone harmed, so, no.

Hot Clicks: Did you pay your taxes in full this year?

Mathis: I’m actually being audited right now. I’ll do my 2012 taxes when that’s over. Sadly, I always pay in full.
