Another day, another pipe dream for LiAngelo Ball.

The middle Ball child and brother of Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo was asked by TMZ cameras whether or not he’ll end up in L.A. like his boisterous dad constantly declares. LiAngelo is still convinced he’s ready for primetime.

“Yeah, I will,” Gelo says. “Probably later. I think I will.”

It’s amazing how this narrative continues to get pushed, despite the Lakers clearly not wanting anything to do with the most untalented Ball brother. There’s a reason L.A. kept him off his Summer League roster and don’t even want him associated with his G-League team. I like his confidence, but come on.

LiAngelo simply isn’t talented enough to play in the NBA. There’s never going to be a LeBron, Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo combination in L.A. Never. If anything, the Lakers will trade Lonzo once the surrounding headache with his dad overshines his talent.

Sorry, Gelo, you’re never going to be a Laker. Heck, you’re probably never going to suit up in the NBA.
