Steph Curry swore and his momma wasn’t too impressed.

In the third quarter of Golden State Warriors 126-85 blowout win over the Houston Rockets, Curry was feeling himself after a floater, telling the crowd “this if my f—ing house.” It was a rare NSFW display for a usual family-friendly player.

One person who wasn’t impressed was Steph Curry’s mom, Sonya Curry, who the superstar point guard said told him “to wash my mouth out… with soap.”

“She already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back,” Curry told Chris Haynes at ESPN. “She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It’s a message I’ve heard before.” …

“She’s right,” Curry told ESPN. “I gotta do better. I can’t talk like that.”

Good on Curry for trying to keep his on-court vocabulary clean. That’s a good way to impress mom. Although, now all I want to know is was Sonya thinks of Draymond Green’s trash talk – who, uh, isn’t quiet when it comes to swearing.
