Jameson Taillon is dealing with some blister issues, so naturally, he’d be down for all of his teammates peeing on it to make it go away.

Taillon, a 26-year-old righty for the Pittsburgh Pirates, was pulled from his most recent start against the San Francisco Giants after just three innings because of a nagging bleeding blister. In order to heal quicker, Taillon told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review he was cool with going old school and allowing his teammate to line up and piss on the blister.

“I said if it helps, I’ll put a sign-up sheet and everyone can come and pee,” he said. “I don’t care. I just want it to go away..

…if it helps, I would do it. I’m not scared, man. I just need to be out on the field.”

You’ve got to respect Taillon’s willingness to do whatever it takes to get healed up and get on the mound. But, there’s entirely no reason he needs to get peed on by teammates, even if it’s an old baseball adage (that definitely doesn’t work). Maybe try something else? Perhaps, some ointment?

If Taillon lets his teammates pee on his hands, he can’t undo that. They’ll share that moment forever – for better or worse.
