If you buy very expensive and overpriced beer at sporting events, the best thing for you to do with it is drink it, not throw it at anyone on the field. Remember that Blue Jays fan who threw beer at Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim during the AL Wild Card game last year? He’s now a janitorial supervisor.

Unfortunately, a Bengals fan at today’s Buffalo-Cincinnati game didn’t get the memo, and threw a beer at former Bengal Brandon Tate after he scored a touchdown because… football?

Tate ducked under the shower of over-priced Miller Lite, so good on him for the moves to catch the touchdown and get away from smelling like beer on the sidelines. The Bengals ended up winning 20-16, so was the beer toss worth it in the end? It’s still a waste of good, yet overpriced beer, so the jury is still out.

Memo to everyone: don’t waste beer by throwing it at players at sporting events. Please. But in the end, I guess beer tossing is “better” than heckling players by swearing at them after a game.
