In case you were wondering, Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury isn’t a Belieber.

Kingsbury appeared at 2017 Big 12 Media Day, where the 37-year-old was introduced to the media with Justin Bieber playing in the background. Kingsbury wasn’t thrilled with the music choice, voicing his displeasure with the selection.

Isn’t Kingsbury supposed to be the hippest, coolest young head coach in the NCAA? But the dude is embarrassed to be played out to Justin Bieber? That’s lame. In case Kingsbury doesn’t know, Bieber is cool now and there’s nothing wrong with liking his music.

So, what’s Kingsbury’s preference?

Drake is fine, but if Kingsbury really wants to continue his heartthrob persona, he should quickly adapt to listening to Justin Bieber. Really, it’s not that bad. Bieber’s evolved from the annoying tween star into a certifiable pop star.

Don’t tell me this isn’t a banger.

Kingsbury’s got bigger fish to fry than what music is playing during media day. The Red Raiders have won a total of 16 games in the past three seasons and Kingsbury’s “cool guy” attitude will only keep him at Texas Tech for so long. With more bad takes like this one, he’s “cooled” right down.
