Last year, Nike got together with Patriots owner Robert Kraft in order to design a Lunar Force 1 sneaker that paid tribute to the Pats.

That sneaker collaboration sold out in minutes so it’s not that surprising to learn that Nike and Kraft are prepared to release a second Patriots-themed Lunar Force 1 to celebrate the team’s fourth Super Bowl victory this past season.

Using a black leather Air Force 1 Low as its base model, the new Patriots sneaker features Lunarlon soles and comes with a few team-appropriate touches, including the image of four Lombardi trophies and Patriots logo that is attached to the front of the tongue and the placement of Robert Kraft’s initials “R.K.K” on the sneaker’s doubre and the opposite side of the sneaker’s tongue.

According to Patriots.com, proceeds from the sale of the sneakers will go towards the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.

The Patriots x Nike Lunar Force 1 will be available at Nike Boston on Thursday, September 10th (just in time for the team’s season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers) and it will be sold at the Patriots ProShop on Friday.

If Robert Kraft’s previous collaboration with Nike is any indication, these will be hard to get. Any Patriots sneakerheads who don’t live in the New England area may want to make some fast friends if they want a shot at these.

Kraft has long been a fan of the low-top Air Force 1, having worn his own custom version of the sneaker in the past.
