Unsurprisingly given how the promo for it was such a disaster, the biopic on Marshawn Lynch’s life entitled Family First: The Marshawn Lynch Story is never going to see the light of day.

The decision to pull the plug on the project was made by Lynch’s camp, who wasn’t pleased with the work that was done by the film’s director – family friend Mario Bobino. Marshawn’s agent Doug Hendrickson was particularly blunt, telling Rolling Stone that Bobino “did a terrible job and the film will never be released.”

Judging by this, it’s pretty easy to see why Lynch would not want his name or image attached to the project.

However, while Family First is now nothing but a dead dream, its ghost may live on to help serve another project – Bobino’s new film about his trials and tribulations making Lynch’s biopic.

His movie may be dead, but he’s currently writing a script about his struggles making it, and the events that transpired after that fateful trailer was released.

So, if you’re into really awkwardly acted and poorly-lit cinema, you can wait for Bobino’s film about Family First now that the Marshawn Lynch biopic is officially kaput.
