San Francisco pitcher Chris Heston made his first start of 2015 and overall fourth big league appearance on Wednesday night and while the rookie threw a gem, he made one embarrassing blunder.

During the Giants 5-2 win, one in which Heston only gave up three hits and two unearned runs in six innings, he completely botched a fourth inning pitch to Paul Goldschmidt. In the one-run game, he inexplicably falls down in the middle of delivery, not even appearing to slip, and proceeds to chuck the ball into the ground.

It seems foolish to make fun of the 26-year-old rookie considering he pitched wonderfully and really helped out the Giants after Matt Cain went on the disabled list, but we’re guessing that his teammates had a little fun with his error.
