On Friday, ESPN’s Mike Golic was so confident that his Notre Dame squad would beat Northwestern that he put forth a giant wager on the game on his Mike and Mike radio show. If Northwestern somehow, someway, inconceivably beat Notre Dame, Golic would recreate Paper magazine’s Kim Kardashian cover for all to see.
Of course, because some higher power has a really perverse sense of humor, Northwestern came from behind to beat Notre Dame in overtime. Golic (and his wife) were in shock.
