If you are unfamiliar with the story of Mount St. Joseph University freshman Lauren Hill, we urge you to check out this ESPN video which details the incredible journey. In the piece, Tom Rinaldi tells the story of the incredible young lady who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and expected to live only until December. It is one of the more gut-wrenching and yet motivational stories you can imagine.
The amount of people who have rallied in support of Lauren is astounding, and the latest to do their part is EA Sports who granted Lauren Hill the honor of being the cover athlete for NBA Live ’15. I dare you to find a more deserving athlete in basketball.
