Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was caught allegedly stealing $120 worth of merchandise from a Dillard’s at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas on Monday.
Just… why?
According to TMZ, Randle apparently lifted a tester(!) bottle of Gucci Guilty Black and a 2-Pack of Ralph Lauren underwear.
“The items that were stolen were underwear and cologne,” said Lieutenant Jason Jenkins with Frisco Police. The cologne is valued at approximately $80, while the underwear is worth $40.
Police tell KRLD’s L.P. Phillips that Randle was caught outside of the store at 8:17 p.m. and held by in-store loss prevention personnel. He did not attempt to flee when confronted.
Again… why?
Randle has a base salary of $495,000 for this season. He has two years left on his deal (worth $585,000 next year and $675,000 on the year after that). The Cowboys could have probably bought Randle some new underwear at the very least.
