Georgia running back Todd Gurley has been suspended amid allegations that the Heisman contender accepted cash for a heap of his autographs. For obvious reasons, the decision is pissing a lot of people off and has prompted petitions, protests, Twitter debates…and even a candlelight tribute.
To be clear, Toddy Gurley is very much alive. The dominating ball carrier did not pass away, nor is he in danger of passing away. The guy is a fully functioning, breathing, non-injured or ill-stricken human being, yet some fans found it appropriate to leave various mementos in honor of him.
