As the Packers were hammering the Vikings on Thursday Night Football, Phil Simms and Jim Nantz were forced to discuss numerous other storylines surrounding both teams, including Teddy Bridgewater’s draft day slip.

Simms began by saying the then-Louisville QB plummeted on draft boards across the league as a result of his pro day, which is a fair argument. However, the bumbling and highly criticized CBS analyst then said Bridgewater’s poor performance occurred because of his decision not to wear gloves. According to Simms, he began sailing passes from his non-gloved hand because of the cold and slick conditions.

Phil, the pro day took place inside.

While this alone was worth the return on investment or the viewing audience in a 42-0 game, Nantz began questioning Simms on-air regarding the validity of NFL scouting.
