Alternate uniforms across college football are becoming the norm, with few teams sticking with their usual home-away designs for an entire season.
In an attempt to bring a whole new level of customization to this uniforms arms race, Purdue is introducing a fan photos helmet design for tomorrow’s Big Ten opener against Iowa in West Lafayette. In what appears to be just another funky texture, a closer look reveals dozens of fan photos integrated into the Purdue logo.
Regardless of your take on the Boilermakers’ decision, the idea is certainly creative and deserves a hat tip:
