jags

The Jacksonville Jaguars were pummeled by the Indianapolis Colts at home on Sunday, leaving them with an 0-3 record and turning to yet another new franchise QB in Blake Bortles. The game had an announced attendance of 60,601 and instead of thanking all 60k-plus with personal notes, the team was too busy paying a postal bill for a very different type of letter.

The Jags sent out a letter to all season ticket holders on September 12th that asked for fans in certain sections to sit down in order to respect others around them. Yes, we’ve all been behind the oblivious and obnoxious dude that stands the entire game, but the team has bigger fish to fry.

Here is a portion of the letter that references the excessive standing:

The Jaguars have received multiple reports of individuals standing excessively without respect to other fans in the area. To be courteous to fans around you when you are standing and cheering for the team, we ask that you please stand with the flow of the game, making sure not to block aisles or prevent the flow of traffic

Your team has been the laughing stock of the league for a decade, constantly fending off re-location rumors and hiring/firing coaches and QBs almost every season, yet you are sending letters to the few season ticket holders willing to support a pitiful team?

Aggressive.
