The Wallkill Mighty Mites (which has to be the best name ever for a Little League football team) began their season innocently enough.

Coaches had created a banner for the team to run through to inaugurate the new season. The players eagerly ran straight at the banner, ready to tackle a brand new season with all the gusto that only six and seven year-olds can manage. And then the mean banner refused to cooperate, clothes-lining some players and causing a pileup of little bodies that is more reminiscent of a loose ball scrum than a banner celebration.

The best part though? How the little cheerleaders respond as if nothing went wrong.
