Much has been made of the 0 passes that Richard Sherman was forced to defend in week 1. Today, Philip Rivers targeted Sherman’s man and shockingly, Sherman didn’t intercept the pass and run it back to the end zone while shouting insults at Rivers.

Instead, Sherman got faked out a bit (okay, maybe more than “a bit”).

Sherman is the best corner in the game, but ignoring his side of the field for an entire game is just silly. He’s the best in the business and he’s beatable. Nothing wrong with that.
