College football is phenomenal for a plethora of reasons, including a passionate and diverse fan base chucked full of children, drunk students, arrogant donors and of course, senior citizens. Charley Ackerman, a senior citizen from Milford, Nebraska, is one piece to that puzzle but that doesn’t mean he’s pleased with the puzzle’s music choices.

Check out this letter he wrote to the Nebraska athletic department complaining about the “hip-hop hogwash” they blare during football games:

Unfortunately for Chuck, the opinion is falling upon deaf ears, as no athletic department has any intention of playing a little Tony Bennett or The Mamas & The Papas. Although with the Huskers’ odd performance in a win over McNeese State last week, maybe they should have played something a little more somber.
