No. 18: Auburn

Mississippi Auburn Football

Sorry, Tigers fan but we still remember the debacle of 2008, when your squad started No. 10 in the polls before faltering to a 5-7 record. The national runner-up had their starting QB in offseason headlines (never a good thing) and will run a gauntlet in 2014.

An unexpected slip-up in week one versus Bret Bielema’s Razorbacks could prove deadly, as they visit No. 20 Kansas State three weeks later followed by SEC trips to Oxford, Athens and Tuscaloosa and home games against LSU, South Carolina and A&M.

Don’t bet on it but Auburn needs to evade Arkansas and K-State before we start talking CFP.
