Will Muschamp had the very unenviable task of replacing Urban Meyer at Florida and following a frustrating 7-6 opening season, his Gators went 11-2 in 2012 and appeared destined for a long run at national relevance. Unfortunately bad luck, hilarious blocking and head-scratching losses led to an astonishing 4-win season and initiated intense Fire Muschamp rumors.
As college football continues to trend toward a ridiculous level of impatience with coaching staffs, with boosters and oblivious fans calling for changes after one down season, Muschamp is apparently on the heat seat and could be looking for a new gig come December.
