In the seventh inning of today’s Yankees-Astros game, Chris Rock caught a foul ball. This would have been noteworthy in-and-of itself because it involves a celebrity, it’s baseball and it’s August but then something even more special happened. Rock looked around and saw a kid standing nearby, so in the spirit of generosity, the comedian gave the ball to him.
Talk about a Yankees game to remember for a young fan. Not only did one lucky young Yankees fan get a foul ball at today’s game, he got one that was handed to him by one of the stars of Grown Ups 2!
(I’m assuming that the Grown Ups films would be a very young person’s reference point for Chris Rock, OK?)
