manzielll

This just in: According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Johnny Manziel was late to a team meeting on Monday. But wait, there’s more! Mortensen is reporting that there is a chance that Manziel and a few other rookies “misread the schedule,” explaining their tardiness. Still, that didn’t matter to the Browns. Because it appears that Manziel was fined by the Browns.

But, wait, there’s even more! Adam Schefter, also with ESPN, says that if the quarterback competition between Manziel and Brian Hoyer comes down to a tie, Hoyer will have the advantage. Hoyer is starting the Browns’ second preseason game and Schefter believes the Browns might make their decision prior to their third preseason game.

An NFL player was late to a meeting? Better start the other guy.

The Browns are going to start the best quarterback on their roster. One missed meeting isn’t going to change the outcome. If it does, then that will be the most Browns move of all time.
