Bears

Ever wonder what an NFL team would look like if only fielded local talent? Look no further. Andrew Powell-Morse of Best Tickets put together some infographics which filled NFL rosters with active players within the team’s home area. For the purpose of these hometown teams, those teams which are geographically close to one another were combined to form one team. That would include the 49ers and Raiders, the Giants and Jets and the Ravens and Redskins. Powell-Morse also streamlined the rosters so that each team would be composed of the following:

1 quarterback, 1 running back, 1 tight end, two wide receivers, two offensive linemen, two defensive linemen, two cornerbacks, two linebackers and one safety.

If there were not enough players within the target area to complete the roster, empty spots were filled by players who grew up in areas that were as close as possible to the target area.

While they may not be complete teams, it’s quite interesting to see what NFL teams would look like if no one left home. So, enjoy the slideshow and judge who REALLY has the best football talent in all the land.
